Welcome by Board Chair – Dr. Obi Tabot stating that he was not chosen to be a leader but a servant.

Minutes if last meeting on Friday August 07, 2020

The minutes were not adopted as members mostly brainstormed on the

  • Organization of the Bureau OR Administration: if the board is running as the Executive or if there is an Executive branch that reports to the Board in which case does not need an outsider in the advisory Board
  • The board should run the meetings
  • The Board is also administrative
  • Committees will be functional once elected today
  • ALUMNI FUND WILL SERVE AS FINANCIAL ARM OF MAGGSOSA
  • ALUMNI FUND is registered as a CHARITY bound by the laws of the US
  • FUNCTIONALITY OF OUR WEBSITE: – The website address should reflect MAGGSOSA
  • The WEBSITE will by managed by

    Membership will be by Registration with a cost $100 / yr
    ( One hundred dollars)

Members stressed on the need for the organization to be on a sound footing with a clear vision which will be reflected by the Website, the brochures and the projects

Donations are ongoing with links forwarded to members and alumni forum

It was suggested for Registration for Membership to begin by January 2021

In the meantime – continue with the fundraising drive with donations to the Alumni Office Project.

***Current Members have raised over $6,000 of the $15,000 estimated cost.
