Meeting started by 9:30 pm. School Anthem, Reverend Ambe led the group in prayer; Reading of minutes of May 1, 2020. Adopted by Mme Christie Ayuk seconded by Dr. Kome.

Matters arising from minutes

The MAGGSOSA ALUMNI PTA FUND DRIVE raised another $1K bringing the total amount raised to $2300

The additional CFA 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand) was handed over to the PTA by our Cameroon Team of 3. This brings the total PTA funds to CFA1,200,000 (One Million two hundred thousand frs)
The GoFundMe continues with hopes to raise the balance of $2700.

The Alumni in Cameroon are still to honor their pledges to participate in the fundraising effort.

Updates on Estimates on Alumni Office restoration – Mr Akombi
The space is still occupied with office equipment that has to be moved to Temporary Secretariat which is still under construction by the PTA

In the meantime, Mr. Akombi will obtain measurements of the office space as well as space in the Auditorium for the proposed Audiovisual Center including facilities for printing. Mr. Akombi will obtain estimates of Solar panels equipment and installation, and of Bore Hole for water supply.

Dr. Kome suggested that WiFi should cover the entire campus – need an estimate. Dr. Kome will head the audiovisual project. Reverend Ambe is working on the Website with Dr. Obi Tabot in his team. Eneme will register the Association in PA.


Once the cost of the proposal is ready, Alumni will launch fundraising events in:
-DMV area including PA
-New England in Boston
-Midwest in Illinois

    GLOBAL MAGGSOSA has created a forum since the last meeting – there are efforts to move the group to Telegram Messenger to accommodate the more that 258 maximum limit of What’s App

MAGGSOSA ADMINISTRATORS scheduled first meeting on Sunday 6/7/2020
MAGGSOSA ALUMNI FUND will participate and present our current program

Dr. Kome & Mme Elza Etch, Ferdinand and myself will participate in the Administrators Inaugural meeting.
