Cultural Club
First Public Performance of the Grammar School Cultural Club during the Youth Week of 1974.
10 February 1974: The Population of Mamfe had not witnessed anything of this nature. The above picture is a capture of the last 10 seconds of the group’s performance. All the 13 boys have exited. The instrumentalists were still playing, and here comes the captain. All eyes turned to see what was about to happen. He was coming to officially close the dance episode. As he lifted his right leg in the air, and pinned the spear into the ground the music immediately stopped. There was an uproar. This earned them first prize.
