Projects Committee – by Ferdinand Akombi
A. Our initial project was to get an alumni office on campus estimated to cost over 10K. Phase 1 is complete with Restoration of the Alumni Office; phase 2 to install Solar Panels in the auditorium is complete and waiting for someone to verify the work; Phase 3 is next for: Wifi, Equipment, Furniture
B. Other Projects: Borehole and Wifi for the whole campus
Applying for grant from PECTIN for Borehole and MTN for Wifi
Borehole: Projects Committee asking for volunteers for Grant writing – Dr. Kome was designated to write the urgent proposal and send to the GHS school principal for submission by the school.
The Chair cautioned that members should continue to work on Plan B for funding in case the above does not go through. Committees should think of projects, especially sustainable projects and propose them to the group. The group will work on funding.
Bachuo Ntai Elites have completed Borehole projects in their village – our project can tap on their expertise for estimates and services of what sponsors need: Survey, Feasibility and Grant estimates.
To that end, the following were invited to join the project committee deliberations on Boreholes: Mme Christie Ayuk, Chairman Dr. Obi Tabot, Raphael Ebot, David Tataw, Rev. Vero Akwe
Website Committee by Rev. Neba
The Reverend treated the group to a spectacular walk-through of the most beautiful website.
The Labor of Love in the layout and display was breathtaking with detailed rationale and recall of facts from GHS – No words can describe the great experience – Seeing is Believing!! KUDOS and Huge Thanks to the Reverend⚜️🙏🏾
Tabot Ebini volunteered to join the Website Committee
