Dr. Obi Tabot called in when elected an gave a very reassuring acceptance / acknowledgement as summarized:
I am proud and humbled to nominated in absentia
It is on your shoulders that I am standing
Every fiber of my body will do my best
This is an institution that means so much to me
I left primary school in 1966 and was home for 4 yrs
Entered form 1 in 1969 when classmates were in form 5
That tells you how much this school means to me
After GHS – went to Nigeria and tried attending up to 4 universities before moving to the United States
Admitted to a school in TN and with no “A” Level
My Admission was based on ALL I LEARNT FROM GHS
After which I had over 8 admissions to medical schools
The long and short of it is
“Everything I am today is from GHS”
With your help / God’s help and thanks for the opportunity
I will give my humble, honest, unequivocal …..
We have the skills and the manpower
With a good administration in place
Dr, Kome acknowledged the Tenacity of the Pioneers of GHS – Hungry to Eat Raw Cassava
There are plans for a ZOOM FUNDRAISER BY THE END OF THE MONTH TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE PROJECT A DETAILED ABOVE
Members should invite MAGGSOSANs to the MAGGSOSA CHAT FORUM as we build MAGGSOSA 🇺🇸
