Minutes of meeting of Oct. 2nd were read and adopted by Matthias Waindim and Ferdinand Akombi
Matters arising from the minutes:
Dr. Kome reported that he has been in touch with Senior MAGGSOSAN , Prof. B Tanyi who is the head of the Dept of Technology at University of Buea.
Prof. Tanyi’s department / students in training have been installing SOLAR Panels throughout the country for over 3 yrs – and will be in charge of our long-term plans to electrify the campus with Solar Energy
Dr. Kome plans to write up a grant for the project which can be linked to the Grants for COVID:
Many rural areas do not have water.
There is a need to pump water.
With Solar Power water can be pumped from any location
There is need for a feasibility study to Electrify the entire campus / entire area.
Dr. Kome will be on the lookout for announcement of different grants from the government.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
In the meantime, Prof Tanyi will be informed and hopefully be involved with the current smaller Solar Project.

Board Members are invited to submit a picture and Bio for the Website
Rev. Ambe Neba sent a:
- Reminder for Board Members to go on the Board’s Page on the Website.
It is slow in coming.
Thanks for sending the word out - With maggsosaalumnifund.org domain established, we need the association’s emails that will go with it. For example mails to the Chair, general inquiries, etc.
What emails you should be set up and who should man and manage those emails - We were supposed to have Guiding Principles or Core Values (derived from the Anthem): what are they?
- Can there be a discussion centered around that.
- There is a place holder on the site for that – if the team deems it necessary
